Thomas Le Barbanchon is full professor of economics at Bocconi, where he holds the Rodolfo Debenedetti chair in labor studies. He received a PhD in Economics from Ecole Polytechnique (CREST-ENSAE) in 2012. Before 2012, he worked as an economist at the French Statistical Institute and at the French Ministry of Labor.
His research is in labor economics, with a focus on job search and matching, gender studies, discrimination and social insurance.
