Evidence for Change. 10 Years of LEAP
What does it mean to conduct economic research to fight poverty? How can rigorous research create real opportunities for those who need them most?
Since opening our doors in 2016, LEAP has worked alongside governments, NGOs, researchers, institutional partners, and communities around the world to address these questions. Over the past decade, we have designed and supported projects that advance rigorous scientific research in education, health, social norms and gender, migration, and agriculture—research that informs policymaking and contributes to improving the lives of the poor.
As LEAP marks its 10th anniversary, this event will reflect on a decade of evidence and impact. We will explore how research can shape public policy, strengthen institutions, and foster a more inclusive and equitable world. Through the voices of researchers, policymakers, partners, philanthropists, and participants themselves, the event will offer a journey of words, images, and international music with Fatoumata Diawara.
The event will open the LEAP Conference, which will take place on 18–19 June at Bocconi University in the Leonardo Del Vecchio Building.
Join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement.
