Michela Carlana

Michela Carlana is Assistant Professor at Harvard Kennedy School, Cambridge (USA). She received her PhD in Economics from Bocconi University in 2018 and she was a PODER research fellow at IIES (Stockholm University) in 2016-17. Her research is in labor and development economics with a focus on immigration and gender issues. Michela examines the role of teacher stereotypes in affecting performance and educational choices of students.
