Mara Squicciarini

Mara Squicciarini is Avv. Giovanni Agnelli Associate Professor, at Bocconi University, Department of Economics. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of Leuven and she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northwestern University and Visiting Researcher at Stanford University and at UCLA. 

Her research focuses on economic history and development economics, and uses historical data to study the cultural and institutional determinants of long-term economic growth.
