Call for Papers

We are pleased to announce the second edition of the Workshop on Networks and Development, that will be held in Naples (Italy) from the 29th (noon) to the 31st (noon) of May 2023. The workshop aims at bringing together researchers working on themes related to networks and development economics to present their work. Topics include (but are not limited to): peer-effects, insurance networks, firms' networks, information, family networks.

Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome.

Two keynote lectures will be given by Oriana Bandiera (LSE) and Imran Rasul (UCL).

We welcome submissions from both senior and junior researchers (including PhD students). The deadline for submissions is February 24th 2023. Please submit your paper to csef@unina.it specifying “Networks and Development Workshop” in the subject.

The workshop is co-funded by CSEF, LEAP, the World Bank (DIME) and the University of Naples Federico II. The organizing committee is composed by Mattea Stein, Matteo Bizzarri, Michele Giannola and Roberto Nisticò (CSEF and University of Naples Federico II) and Stefano Fiorin (LEAP and Bocconi).
