Call for Paper - Conference 2022

The Laboratory for Effective Anti-poverty Policies (LEAP) is organizing a conference in Development Economics to celebrate its 5th anniversary. The conference will be hosted by Bocconi University on June 27-28, 2022.

We invite submissions from interested researchers on a broad range of topics in development economics, including (but not limited to): human capital; firms and entrepreneurship; agriculture; labor; migration; social norms; gender; political economics; behavioral economics. We accept both full-length papers and extended abstracts for projects at an advanced stage.

Keynote speakers: Abhijit Banerjee (MIT and JPAL), Esther Duflo (MIT and JPAL)

Scientific committee: Lucia Corno, Alexia Delfino, Stefano Fiorin, Selene Ghisolfi, Pamela Giustinelli, Simon Goerlach, Eliana La Ferrara, Nicola Limodio.

Funding: We can cover travel and hotel accommodation for a limited number of presenters. However, funding is limited, and we encourage participants who have research funds available to use their own funds so that resources can be preferentially channeled to junior participants.
