Research proposal "Working While Studying" by Le Barbanchon T. and Ubfal D. receives funding by JPAL

The research proposal "Working While Studying" in response to JPAL SYP call, presented by Thomas Le Barbanchon (PI) and Diego Ubfal (co-PI) (LEAP affiliates) in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Uruguay, has been selected for funding. The program aims at detecting the effects of early work experience on the acquisition of non-cognitive skills and, consequently, on employment (formal and informal), earnings and education attainment, through a random allocation of jobs at public institutions to youth enrolled at school. Best wishes for a productive and fruitful research!
